  • Hatha Yoga

    Hatha classes focus on the alignment and gentle movement to find a foothold on each posture individually. Suitable for beginners and excellent for more advanced students to return to basics and move a level deeper into understanding and feeling. This style of yoga is very classical, the way many practice in India, Nepal and Tibet. We have stipulated Hatha I and Hatha II to try and assist you in knowing what level you might be entering. I being a little more basic and moving slower and at times in Hatha II, when we have mastered the poses we can start moving from one to the other without pause. Which takes it to a Hatha Vinyasa flow class.

  • Vinyasa Flow

    Vinyasa means "linking" combining the poses. Generally here at Yoga Wisdom we tend to teach Vinyasa flow style even in the more basic classes. This style can eventually become quite challenging in terms of fitness, strength and suppleness. It is still suitable for beginners to try more advanced classes here at Yoga Wisdom because the teachers are very kind and can adapt to your needs and assist you where necessary.

  • Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga

    This practice is a strong disciplined practice of the same sequence. In this class we venture into the first sequence of Ashtanga vinysa yoga. It is fun and challenging. Great for athletes and very energetic people. Also great for building strength and flexibility. Awesome practice, google it and come try. A practice to bring deep awareness into the habitual patterns holding one back from moving with freedom and joy.

  • Kundalini Yoga

    as taught by Yogi Bhajan

    Great practice to be able to take your practice at your own pace. Quite different from all the others, coming from the lineage of the Sikhs, north India. This practice utilises, naad (sound) for the upliftment and transformation towards union of the mind, body and soul. It is a whole experience and not to be missed. Definitely try it.


  • Aerial Yoga

    Combination of traditional Yoga and aerial silk acrobatics, assisting in learning to align the body and activate and rejuvenate suspended in a material hammock. An amazing practice to feel free and relaxed, helping our ability of letting go, releasing tension on the bones and muscles, increasing flexibility and strength.

  • Acro Yoga

    Yoga Wisdom is now offering Acro Yoga on a monthly basis, next workshop is 20 October and 5 November. Franchesca and Jeanette will guide you into flying and basing a friend or partner. 
    Acro Yoga is a combination of Thai massage, Acrogymnastics and yoga. It has tremendous therapeutic affects, aiding in lengthening the spine, relaxing and removing tension from the muscles.
